North Texas Barnett Shale Systems

These lines are intended to gather natural gas from producers that are developing hydrocarbons from the Barnett Shale and other reservoirs in the North Texas area.

Locations and Routes

  • J C Bell System - Johnson and Tarrant Counties, TX
    This line connects to Energy Transfer Partners’ 16-inch diameter pipeline at a point near Crowley in Tarrant County. The line extends south-southwest approximately 4.5 miles into Johnson County. The system became operational during July 2007.
  • Palo Pinto System - Palo Pinto County, TX
    This line will connect to DCP Midstream’s (formerly Momentum Energy Group’s) pipeline system being constructed in southern Palo Pinto County. It is expected that the system will be operational during the first half of 2008.
  • Hill System - Hill County, TX
    This line will connect to Energy Transfer Partners’ 42–inch diameter transmission line at a point northwest of Hillsboro, Texas. From that point the route as planned is 10 miles southwest then 11 miles southward into southern Hill County. It is expected that the system will be operational during the second half of 2008.

  • North Dakota System

    Location and Route

  • Stanley Gas Gathering and Processing System - Mountrail County, ND
    This system is designed to gather and process associated natural gas from the Stanley, North Dakota area. Downstream from the Pecan processing plant, it will connect to the Williston Basin Interstate line east of Stanley. The system became operational during the second quarter of 2008.
