Gas Gathering and Processing SystemsNorth Texas Barnett Shale SystemsThese lines gather natural gas from producers that are developing hydrocarbons from the Barnett Shale and other reservoirs in the North Texas area. Locations and RoutesThis line connects to Energy Transfer Partners’ 16-inch diameter pipeline at a point near Crowley in Tarrant County. The line extends south-southwest approximately 4.5 miles into Johnson County. The system became operational during July 2007. This line is connected to DCP Midstream’s pipeline system in southern Palo Pinto County. The system became operational mid 2008. This system became operational in February 2009 and gathers, conditions, compresses and processes associated natural gas from Montague County and other areas. North Dakota SystemLocations and RoutesThis system, which became operational during the second quarter of 2008, gathers and processes associated natural gas from the Stanley, North Dakota area. Located downstream from the Pecan processing plant, it currently connects to the Williston Basin Interstate line east of Stanley. The system, which is near final expansion will provide gas to the Prairie Rose Gathering Line. Pecan North Dakota commenced operation of its 12-inch diameter, 76-mile Prairie Rose Pipeline, in February 2010 which interconnects with the Alliance Pipeline system near Bantry, North Dakota. Dense phase rich natural gas from the North Dakota Bakken oil play is being transported to a natural gas liquids processing plant near Chicago, Illinois. Initial deliveries are expected to reach 40 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd) by year-end 2010. The estimated capacity of the pipeline exceeds 100 MMcfd. |
